What is Fat Ugly Stupid?

Fat Ugly Stupid is a light hearted read about a teenage romance that spans the decades.  Written from the perspective of both Laura and Steve, we follow how their lives worked out after leaving school, making their way in the world and occasionally entering each other’s social spheres. The decades change them and their perspective of life and love.

Why should you read the book?

The story is a nostalgia trip through the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s.  References to fashion and music evoke our own memories whilst Laura and Steve navigate their way through the decades. It is light-hearted and fun and sometime emotional; just what you want from a good book.

Who would enjoy the book?
