I recently attended a wonderful exhibition of events through the ages at Little Somerford church organised by an amazing lady called Arlene Bishop. Arlene generously offered me an opportunity to sell my books at the 3-day event over May bank holiday and I was staggered and thrilled to sell 12. A 60's child has gone down particularly well attracting some very kind reviews both on Amazon and here on my website. The event, itself, was a huge success attracting over 500 people and bringing together families and friends who have not seen each other in years. My beautiful wedding dress, hand sewn by my amazingly talented mother, was on view and I was so proud of it.
The church holds a special place in my heart being where I was christened, confirmed and married but also where I spent many a Sunday afternoon at Sunday school. Now, I am pleased that I went but back then all I wanted to do was stay at home and watch Soccer Sunday with my Dad!
